Karla Ahumada
Chico State Alumni
Karla Ahumada is a Chico State graduate who earned dual degrees in Crops and Horticulture—with a Pest Control Advising focus—and Agricultural Business, graduating Summa Cum Laude in May 2025. She currently works as a Field Development Coordinator for AliBio, where she partners with growers throughout the Salinas Valley and Ventura County to run on-farm biostimulant trials, collect crop data, and show growers the agronomic and financial value of the products. During college, she was highly involved in Ag Ambassadors, agricultural marketing competitions—including a third-place finish at the 2025 IFAMA competition in Brazil—and regenerative agriculture research. She also serves with the Monterey County Farm Bureau’s Central Coast Young Farmers and Ranchers and is stepping into the role of Chair, while remaining active with Salinas Valley Women for Ag.
Megan Dixon
Cal Poly SLO Alumni
Megan Dixon serves as the PAC Coordinator for the California Farm Bureau Federation, where she manages Farm PAC operations and supports political education initiatives. Originally from Humboldt County, Megan was raised on her family's sixth-generation cattle and timber operation. She earned a degree in Agribusiness from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, graduating with honors and minors in Water Policy and Agricultural Leadership. While at Cal Poly, she served as an Ag Ambassador, President of the Los Lecheros Dairy Club, a member of student government, and author of Resolution 25-07 opposing non-agricultural development on the university's West Campus. Megan remains active in agricultural leadership through her service on the Board of Directors for the National Agri-Marketing Association's Western Pacific Chapter and on the Promotions and Engagement Committee for the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge. She is also an active member of both the Sacramento and Yolo County Young Farmers and Ranchers.
