Central California Almond Growers
Central California Almond Growers Association (CCAGA) is the largest almond huller and sheller in the world. Founded in 1963 by local farmers, the cooperative has grown alongside California’s booming almond industry, operating four plants across Fresno County. Members deliver their almonds for hulling and shelling, keeping ownership of the meats while the hulls and shells are sold to dairies, providing steady revenue for the Association. Over the years, CCAGA has expanded and modernized its facilities, including state-of-the-art shellers and equipment upgrades to keep up with rising production. Today, the Association is known for its strong grower leadership, commitment to efficiency, and focus on continuous improvement for the future.
